This billet is an Assistant to the Program Logistics Management Specialist (LMS) / Equipment Specialist (ES) supporting the Marine Corps Systems Command, Program Manager Anti-Armor Systems. Place of work is on base in Albany, Georgia.
Duties include:
- Logistics Analyst for Saber Weapon System and readiness reporting daily through the MERIT system for EROs and send to BAE (Stafford) Logistics Analyst.
- Monitor monthly Screening Reports for Anti Armor Weapon Systems (Javelin/TOW/SMAW).
- Monitor Statements of Work and Contract Deliverable Requirements Lists.
- Keep e-file/hard copy emails concerning all equipment.
- Track training and coordinate up-coming schedules.
- Update and maintain Combat Loss File for TOW, Javelin, and SMAW.
- Prepare Agendas/Schedules/Action Items & follow up on action items/tasks.
- Gather information from Readiness Reports and distribute to Equip. Specialist & LMS.
- Record weekly readiness numbers on spreadsheet.
- PDREP ? Check daily for possible PQDRs and assist with issue response/resolution.
- Check message ?read-board? daily concerning Javelin, TOW, and SMAW.
- Inventory manager assistant (System inquiries when needed).
- Review Master Work Schedule funding with LMS/ES
- Distribute copies of funding reports.
- Maintain reports on rotation of multiple programs.
- Prepare monthly calendars/schedules.
- Technical Manual Management
- Maintain & distribute Technical Library (TMs, CDs, Letters, Manuals).
- Review and mail updated technical manual changes.
- Maintain Equipment Temp Loan information.
- Maintain SMAW ? Black Tube Contract information.
- Maintain company updates to pass along to BAE employees in Albany.
- Set up conference calls/conference rooms for meetings.
- Answer telephones and record messages.
- Assist with Special Projects as required.
- LAW/AT-4 Equipment Specialist
- Contact Fleet concerning WIRs, etc. via phone/email
- Maintain the LAW Spreadsheet tracking of where LAW Practice Trainers are located
- Use the 3270 System to assist with Back Orders, Assets on Hand, etc. for the LAW Practice Trainers and AT-4 Practice Trainers.
- Eligible for SECRET security clearance
- Minimum education requirements:
Bachelor's degree
- or -
Associate's degree and 2 years of related work experience
- or -
High School diploma (or equivalent) and 4 years relate work experience
- Experience with Marine Corps supply system and transactions
- Experience with MERIT, MIMMS, and other logistics and supply systems
- Experience as Item Manager or equivalent
