BAE Systems is seeking a Warfare Analyst in its Panama City Beach Office to support multiple U.S. Navy Mine Warfare analysis efforts. This position requires a broad Navy experience and exposure to tactics and operations in Mine Warfare, Mine Counter-measures, and Expeditionary Warfare. Knowledge of historical systems, tactics, and events is desirable. This position requires an ability to research Mine Warfare related events, write analysis documents containing military and technological content, and describe the application and integration of Mine Warfare systems and functions. This position requires a range of analytical skills from reading and researching high level documents from Navy and other services to leading teams conducting simulation based warfare analyses (plan studies, analyze results, document conclusions). A Navy operational background with strong writing skills, verbal skills, and computer skills is essential. This position requires a self-starter who can work independently or within small team constructs and possesses an active Secret Clearance. This position is contingent upon contract funding and customer approval.
Must Have: DoD active security clearance Bachelor's degree in related field Eight years experience with U.S. Navy systems, tactics and operations. Experience and knowledge of Mine Warfare, Mine Countermeasures, and Expeditionary Warfare. Excellent writing and analytical skills. Good verbal communication and teamwork skills. Must be organized and detail-oriented Occasional travel (10%)
Preferred to Have: Masters degree Fifteen years experience with U.S. Navy systems, tactics and operations. Knowledge and experience with military simulations, simulation models, and simulation study planning and execution.
