This position provides systems administration support for the customer's Image Quality and Ultility Program. Hands-on experience in systems networking and administratioin on a Windows-based LAN environment. Profiency integrating systems, including installation, checkout, and testing. Establishes and satisfies system-wide requirements based upon the analysis of user, policy, and resource demands. Resolves operating system and application problems quickly and thoroughly while identifying trends and issues, which may adversely impact system operations. Thoroughly understands Windows 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows XP and related server and workstation operating system commands and system admin tools in order to maintain the LAN environment. Working knowledge of Windows DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy. Responsible for hardware and software configurations, installation of patches and upgrades, problem resolution, and technical advice to project teams. Plan, schedule, and implement Windows related operating systems, software and hardware upgrades and installations as approved

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access)
14+ Years with HS or 10+ Years with AA or 8+ Years with BS or 6+ Years with MS or 3+ Years with PhD
Must collaborate well with others and have excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Proven ability to support H/W & S/W installations and upgrades. Experience installing and troubleshooting network infrastructures.
Veritas Netbackup, Symantec AntiVirus. Experience with Unix systems administration, Solaris 9 & 10.
