- Provide direct support to the customer Director of Staff and facilitate the program reporting requirements for program execution in accordance with DoD acquisition statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Provide non-technical acquisition management to include but not limited to, guidance and expertise necessary to apply principles, criteria, and procedures of DoD Directive 5000.1, DoDI 5000.2 and other DoD, AF, AFMC and ESC instructions, directives, regulations, and guidance documents as applicable
- Support Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP) and Major Automated Information System (MAIS) programs, reporting and compliance
- Provide project management expertise and guidance
- Spearhead senior level management projects
- Assist with protocol details during critical Wing and center meetings
- Provide data to wing senior leaders for preparation of ESC leadership meetings as necessary
Required:
- 11+ Years with HS or 7+ Years with AA or 5+ Years with BS or 2+ Years with MS or 0+ Years with PhD
- 7 years experience in DoD acquisition and program management
- Knowledgeable in DoD 5000 and AF acquisition processes
- Full understanding of MDAP/MAIS programs, reporting and compliance
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
- Demonstrated relationship management skills to include the ability to establish and maintain a high level
- of trust and confidence with key stakeholder
- Attention to detail and keen judgment, as well as organizational ability
- Ability to effectively support project level activity and senior management interfaces
- Strong written and oral communication skills and presentation skills
