The selected candidate will be responsible for performing body and fender maintenance and repair of tactical and non-tactical vehicles; utilizes hand tools and power tools; removes upholstery, accessories, and trim components to gain access to body and fender parts; aims headlights, aligns wheels, and bleeds hydraulic brake systems; accomplishes assignments within the limits of established policies, shop practice, and accepted trade to ensure acceptable techniques. Performs work in accordance with technical manuals and similar published procedures.
Duties include straightening, aligning, and replacement of structural components, parts, and sheet metal material; repair of dents, ridges, channels, and other irregular contours; and fabrication of parts, components, and sheet metal structural items. Other duties may include research and specification of parts suitable for component repair.
Will be required to manage housekeeping of work areas and may be assigned to support contract requirements in a job-related area such as environmental, safety, or security. May be required to report to work at all USAG-HI sites and regular work hours may, with proper notification, be adjusted to include shift work to meet contract requirements. Work is typically performed in a well-lighted and ventilated area with company provided PPE; however, work may be performed outdoors in inclement weather conditions.
This position is located in Hawaii. There is no relocation assistance available for this position. Local applicants only.

Must have:
High school diploma or equivalent
Special training through vocational or military school and at least 3 years related work experience (5 years related experience may be considered in lieu of trade school)
Valid state driver's license
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
Capability to perform assigned job tasks in a proficient and effective manner
Ability to obtain a Fork Lift License.
Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds
Ability to obtain/maintain a favorable background investigation
